After Wiscon

So, Wiscon was great (and I stayed too busy the rest of the weekend to keep posting), and I appear to have avoided the nasty bug that was going around. I'll almost certainly be back in the future, and definitely next year since Geoff Ryman will be one of the guests of honor. After that, I might alternate years with IML, which is always the same weekend.

After the sign-out Monday, I drove back to Hartland for the Memorial Day cookout with the family, and now I'm sitting in the Milwaukee airport waiting for the flight home. Hopefully I won't fall asleep on the flight so I can make at least a little progress on the stack of books acquired at the Con.

I'm glad you had fun at Wiscon. It's one of the highlights of my year, and even with The Great Wiscon Plague of 2008 it was fun (indications are that it was a Norovirus outbreak and there are still some straggling reports coming in of new victims). I'm also definitely glad I finally got to check out the Tornado Room for that yummy steak!
