An endorsement

As I mentioned back in May, I'm running as the Libertarian candidate for NC House, District 40 (which spans northern Wake County, including Wake Forest, Rolesville, and bits of north Raleigh). I was happy to learn today that our local alternative newsweekly, the Independent Weekly, gave me their endorsement. Admittedly it's a fairly tepid endorsement, and I'm the only area Libertarian they endorsed, but I'm still pretty happy about it.
The News & Observer didn't endorse me, but I was pretty happy with their article on my race, too.
I don't realistically expect to win this year, but now that I have a much better idea of how the process works, I'm already looking forward to running again in 2006.
