So apparently my employer (Knightsbridge Solutions) is joining the merger frenzy, buying some company called BASE Consulting. They told us on Monday, and it's in the Chicago Tribune today (use username cyberpunk, password cyberpunk if you don't want to register with the Tribune site (that username/password pair actually works at a lot of sites with free registrations)). Fortunately, the point is to produce a bigger company, so the only affect on us consulting staff should be the greater chance of getting stuck on a contract out on the west coast.
