Jul. 11th, 2002 09:06 pmAh, happiness! Ah, joy! There is now a functional cablemodem in the apartment. Life is good. Finally I can take advantage of that subscription to www.andante.com.
Breakfast: Cocoa Pebbles.
Lunch: China Gate (Take-out, picked up by Julia. The usual 2 orders of sesame chicken with steamed rice).
Dinner: The Old Smokehouse (or something like that. They do NC BBQ stuff. John and this other consultant picked the place. I had the meatloaf, which was decent, if somewhat bland).
Games Downloaded: America's Army: Recon (not yet installed or played, but I just had to do something with the cablemodem).
CDs Ordered: John Fitz Rogers, Michael Nicolella: transit

Jul. 11th, 2002 10:07 pmI really wish I had all my CD's available online. In celebration of once again having non-office weeknight high-speed access, I'm really in the mood for the "Happy We" aria from Handel's Acis and Galatea. But, of course, I have no Handel opera recordings with me here in Charlotte, much less Acis and Galatea. Grumble.
